Additional Modalities
I am constantly learning so I can add tools to my medicine kit that will help your beloved both in my office, and at home. I have a cold laser, a BEMER blood flow device, PEMF loops, physical therapy props, phototherapy patches, and an ozone machine. I use massage, essential oil diffusion, and tuning forks to settle even the most anxious pet, or assertive horse. Together, we will devise a strategy tailored to help the animal in the room or barn, no matter what is going on.
Cold Laser Therapy
I use a Multi Radiance ActiVet Pro laser that offers super-pulsed technology. This means that we can achieve deeper penetration of tissues, more quickly and more safely than continuous wave lasers. I use this laser for in-office pain relief so that I can continue to help a painful animal who otherwise couldn’t tolerate treatment. I use it for laser acupuncture, when needles are too strong for an individual. I have a simple MPL cordless laser for rental, so you can offer your pet the benefits of laser without leaving home! I can also help you to purchase your own MPL if that makes sense for your home.

Ozone Therapy
Ozone therapy is the use of an oxygen/ozone gas mixture to heal inflammatory or infectious diseases. Ozone can be administered many ways; in my office I use mainly rectal insufflation to offer the benefits of this powerful healing tool. Since inflammation and poor tissue oxygenation are at the root of many diseases, ozone works beautifully to help animals heal - especially when used in conjunction with laser therapy and BEMER! BEMER
BEMER stands for Bio-Electro-Magnetic-Energy-Regulation. Phototherapy Patches
A more recent addition to my therapy tool kit are phototherapy patches. These small, round stickers are applied to the fur, hair, collar, harness, or blanket. They are non-transdermal, using the body’s own infrared light to stimulate complex biological processes. Patches could not be easier to use, or more well-tolerated by animals and humans alike. They have transformed my life, the life of my own beloved pets, and the way I approach medicine. While the patches are FDA cleared as a wellness therapy for humans, their use on animals is off-label.
